About Us
Our Mission
Our foundation was formed in 2019 in order to continue to honor the memory of Beth Vissing Nieman by offering tuition assistance to a student or students of LaSalle, Mercy McAuley and other tuition-based high schools who are affected in some way by cancer, whether it be a loved one's illness or the student's illness.
Our Name
Beth had many friends and brought many people together. She was the kind of friend that had a good time in any situation. Even when Beth was going through her own personal struggles, she was always there for others.
Beth died just five days shy of turning the big 5-0 and her funeral was held on that special day. Her college and childhood friends discussed the fact that Beth would never turn 50 and will always be 49. She would be Forever 49.
We wish Beth had been here with us to celebrate her 50th birthday, but we know that we can keep her memory, her love of a great time, and her kindness alive by continuing to celebrate her through this foundation. We are “forever” grateful that she was in our lives.

More about our inspiration
Beth Vissing Nieman
Everyone knows that person, the one who can light up a room with their smile and make everyone feel like they are the most important person in the world. That person who makes you feel like you have been friends for years, even if you just met them. That person who creates good times with family and friends, whether the gatherings be big or small, routine outings or special occasions. That person who is always laser focused on putting those around them first, both in thought and action. Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Nieman was just that kind of person, and her warm and caring personality shined happiness upon all who had the good fortune to know her.
